## What the map does

Start without an account. Your work saves in this browser. Choose passphrase encryption or start without it. Add your email later for free cloud sync and a backup copy, or to share a view with someone you trust.

## What the product does not do

The app does not connect to banks, stock apps, exchanges, or crypto wallets or update balances. You enter values and notes yourself. People you add can view the whole portfolio, but cannot edit it.

Family Asset Map does not check for a death or give access later on its own. We cannot recover data protected by E2E Encryption without the passphrase.
