# Family Asset Map > A family asset map. New portfolios use E2E Encryption (end-to-end encryption). Shared access lets people view the whole portfolio, but not edit it. Family Asset Map does not hold money, store bank passwords, replace a will, or give access after a death on its own. Sign in with an email code. Unlock E2E Encryption data with a separate portfolio passphrase. A passphrase is a long password. Read the agent guide first. Use the browser only with user permission. Email access does not give permission to read, export, or share data. Family Asset Map has no public agent API or remote MCP service. To use WebMCP browser tools, the user must enable AI access in an unlocked portfolio. Early access: personal use, adding viewers, and viewing shared maps are free. No card is required. Paid plans are planned, not available for purchase. See /pricing.md for the proposed annual Family subscription and one-time, 12-month Viewer Access. There is no payment flow to automate. Payment would never replace owner permission or the E2E Encryption passphrase. ## Documentation - [A private asset map for your family](https://familyassetmap.com/index.md): English documentation. - [Pricing and free early access](https://familyassetmap.com/pricing.md): English documentation. - [How to create and share your asset map](https://familyassetmap.com/how-it-works.md): English documentation. - [How we protect your data](https://familyassetmap.com/security.md): English documentation. - [Six ways to help your family and loved ones](https://familyassetmap.com/for-loved-ones.md): English documentation. - [Your family asset map checklist](https://familyassetmap.com/guides/family-financial-map.md): English documentation. - [How AI agents can use Family Asset Map](https://familyassetmap.com/for-agents.md): English documentation.
