Family Asset Map is in early access. Creating your map, adding people, and viewing shared maps are free. No card is required. Paid plans are not available yet.

## Early access: free now

**Create your map and share it for free.** Add people you trust by email. They can sign in and view your whole portfolio, but cannot edit it.

For E2E Encryption (end-to-end encryption), they also need your portfolio passphrase. Share it through a separate, safe method.

There is no payment step or automatic charge. We have not set an end date for early access.

We plan to keep personal use free after early access. JSON exports are not encrypted. Store them safely.

## Family

**Sharing paid for by the owner.**

The owner would pay for a yearly sharing plan. People the owner adds could view the portfolio at no extra cost while that plan is active.

The price and launch date are not set. During early access, adding people and viewing shared maps are free.

## Viewer Access

Planned · One-time purchase

**12 months of viewing. No automatic renewal.**

If the owner has no active Family subscription, a person with existing permission could pay for their own viewing access.

One purchase would cover one person and one shared portfolio for 12 months from confirmed payment. The price and launch date are not set.

This option is not on sale. Viewing shared maps is free during early access.

## If the owner stops paying

After paid plans launch, an inactive Family subscription would stop viewing unless the person has active Viewer Access. The owner would still have free access to their own map.

A person with existing permission could buy Viewer Access if the owner cannot renew, including after a death. They would not need to prove a death.

Viewer Access would allow viewing only. It would not allow edits, ownership changes, or adding other people. The owner could still remove permission at any time.

These are planned rules. They do not limit access during early access.

## Payment would not unlock encrypted data

Permission and payment are separate. Only a person the owner has already added could use Viewer Access. They would still need to sign in with that email address.

For E2E Encryption, they would also need the portfolio passphrase. A payment could not recover a lost passphrase or give access to someone the owner did not choose.

Set up access and a safe way to share the passphrase before they are needed. Family Asset Map does not detect a death or release data on its own.

## Before early access ends

We will announce prices, the start date, and the final terms before paid sharing starts. Free sharing during early access does not promise free sharing forever.

Your account will not become a paid subscription automatically. A paid plan will require a separate purchase.

For now, create your map and check access with someone you trust. No purchase is needed.
